Comic will resume April 5

Hey guys. Sorry this isn’t a comic page, but some stuff has come up for both Che and myself. I’m being sent off to a conference by my day job for a week, and so I’ll be out of the country for a week and obviously that’s going to put a crimp on any sort of artistic endeavors. Che is also trying to apply for school again this year, and her portfolio is due in less than two weeks. So both of us have some serious business that needs taking care of so the comic is going to have to wait just a little bit longer before it resumes.

We are hoping to resume regular updates April 5th. For now, enjoy this amazing picture of Ferrah and Kat that Che did. This will be here until the comic resumes.

Happy Halloween

I know, I know, its not a full page, but with all the various festivities I’m involved in and a dose of technical fail, its been a bit hard to get a full page finished for this week. Considering I USED to do this and given the spirit of Halloween, I figured you all wouldn’t mind a little eye candy. Can’t give you all the real thing, but I can at least offer a variant. Some people have big Xmases, well my favorite holiday is Halloween. XD

The next page will probably be November 1st, rather than Oct 31, because, as I said, I’m very busy and won’t get time to do the art till Sunday, which means Che will have to color on late sunday/monday and will be posted for Tues morning.

Hopefully we’ll settle back into our regular Monday updates back in here shortly after this little disruption for spooky haunting goodness and stuff.

Chapter End Caption Contest

As I said last week, this week is a break week between the old and new chapters. So we have a little game for anyone who wants to play it. We don’t have any official prizes per se, but all the submissions we get will go into a gallery for posterity and everyone’s potential amusement. All you have to do is save the jpg of the blanked out page I’ve selected and fill in the dialogue balloons with alternate dialogue for the characters. When you’ve got your masterpiece of hilarity, either post it in the forums in the Shifters area, post a link to it in this post, or email it to me at shadowsmyst@gmail.com. Next week I will post everything I get. Anyone can participate at any time so if you are a new reader, reading through the archives and come upon this for the first time, even months or years down the road and want to send one of these in to me, I’ll put it on the gallery page. Next week we’ll resume regular updates. I’ve also go the extra page meter up. If you want to see more frequent updates for the month of October, consider donating. Every little bit adds up!
